Groups meet Saturday for 7 weeks. The teacher-pupil ratio is 8:1. These golf lessons are less expensive and one of the most cost-effective golf instruction around.
We offer three different summer golf camps for all different skill levels and age groups. Each camp runs Monday-Friday for that week. This is a great way to get your child started in golf!

All full swing golf lessons will take place at Big Swing Golf Center. If you are looking for a chipping lesson or a putting lesson, let your golf instructor know or reach out by phone or email and we will help you get that scheduled!
We recommend that you bring your own clubs to your lesson, but we do have clubs available for use if needed. We also recommend wearing comfortable, athletic clothing and golf shoes if you have some.
We typically say at 5 years old you can start taking golf lessons all the way up to any age adults. All physical limitations are not a problem, and our instructors will work around those limitations.
We have a couple of different options for beginner golfers such as our group classes. They are Saturday mornings and last for 7 weeks, this is a great place for beginners to start playing the game! We also have private one on one instruction; this will help you improve your golf game the quickest and give you more one on one time with one of our instructors.
This is a great way to get started and a great way to keep the cost of the lessons lower. For adults its $104 for the hour and for juniors its $90 for the hour. You can sign up for a series of these lessons. If you have more than two people, it is $10 an additional person for each lesson.
A half hour lesson is great for beginner golfers, while the one hour lessons are more beneficial for more skilled golfers. Beginners can still do one hour lessons and skilled players can still do half hour lessons.
Unfortunately, you can't book a series of lessons online. We do have options for you though! Option One: Book your first lesson as an individual lesson online and let the instructor know you are looking to take more golf lessons (you can also add it in the notes when booking). He will change the lesson over to a series of lessons for you. Option Two: Book all your lessons as individual lessons in advance (the dates and times that work best for you) and let the instructor know that you did so. If you do this, please put in the notes what lesson it would be in the series, whether it's your first, second, third lesson or so on. Either way works great, just let the instructor know! (You will notice on square we only have individual lesson prices, when booking multiple lessons as a series, you can ignore those prices and don't have to pay them)
We typically have people schedule lessons weekly. We want to make sure you can practice in between lessons. If a week doesn't give you enough time to practice, you can spread them further apart. We want to make sure you get the most out of your lessons and practice is a big part of that!
At South Jersey Golf Schools, we accept cash, check, credit card, and Venmo. If you are looking to pay for just one golf lesson, you can do so with the instructor after the lesson is over. If you are looking to sign up for a series of golf lessons, we need the full payment for the series you decide on by the second lesson.
We don't cancel lessons unless the weather is really bad, but we do understand peoples' circumstances. We do the lessons in the covered stalls on days where there is rain so don't worry, you won't get wet!
